RING is a new expression of aged sake created by Tamanohikari Brewery.
It is not simply sake that has been left to rest for a long time.
Each bottle is crafted around the moment when the sake becomes most beautiful—entrusting value to time itself.
The origins of Tamanohikari Brewery lie in the land of Kumano.
The founder, Rokusaemon Nakaya, held a deep devotion to Kumano Hayatama Taisha,
and received the sake name Tamanohikari through its divine blessing.
Within the name “Tamanohikari” lies the image of radiant light—
the shining spirits of the enshrined deities, Izanagi-no-Mikoto and Izanami-no-Mikoto,the divine couple.

Kumano has long been regarded as a sacred place of revival, where people accept the past and find the strength to walk forward once more.

Each bottle is one of a kind,
draped in colors that symbolize revival.
The paint used for these bottles was originally material that had little opportunity to be used.
Through the advanced color-matching and coating technology of Musashi Paint, a world-leading specialty paint manufacturer, it has been given new life.
This is more than simple upcycling.
It is an attempt to reconnect something that was losing its value with the future once again.
Each bottle is painted by hand, one by one.
People with disabilities also take part in this process.
The layering of colors, the texture, and the expression—each is different.
No two bottles will ever be the same.
It mirrors the reality that no life and no connection are ever the same.
